IN HIS OWN WORD'S
Versatile, thought-provoking, real..these are just some of the descriptions fans have dubbed Baltimore native Blizzard's lyrical movement. Hailing from the prestigious east side of Baltimore, Maryland, getting a record deal or going platinum was never a main priority of Blizzards music career. Creating good music that people can honestly relate to,get inspired from and be accepted by all audiences of all ages was his platform from the start. Blizzad's conscious rap style has been compared Lupe Fiasco while his revolutionary words are reminiscent to a forth coming Kid Cudi.
Actively involved in the uplifment of the DMV hip hop community scene, Blizzard's background primed him for such a influential entrance into the rap game. Raised by his mother, grandmother and two older sisters, striving to make his dreams a reality no matter what was instilled in him from birth along with a love for music. From making beats on his own makeshift drum set of pots, pans and shoe boxes to spitting his own lyrics over classic Tupac tracks, Blizzard road to music stardom started at a early age. With his church choir being his second music home, he then understood and accepted his god given talent. Years later, with influences such as Jay-Z, Lil Wayne amd hometown hero Mullyman as his models, Blizz is now ready to be heard. The new single "She doesn't know", produced by Maxbeats has been heard all around Baltimore and has been getting great feedback as well. Not to mention has gotten him a name in the DMV hip hop scene, separate from the usual negative "profiles" that the media makes a lot of rappers out to be.
Currently Blizzard is connecting with multiple DMV artists for collabs, ad campaigns with Bmore Unique clothing line, video projects with Baltimore's own TheShow TV and can be found in local publications such as Urbanite Magazine and the Baltimore Sun.
